The Courthouse, Deansgate

This Grade II listed building was converted to provide 13,320 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation in 2013. Now complete the unique building also houses a number of leisure complexes such as restaurants and shops.


Project: Wellington Place

Client: Gardiner & Theobald

The development is a mix of office, residential, retail and leisure space with a multi-storey car park to service it. The entire development is part of a masterplan and will be one of the largest city-based business quarters in Europe; servicing approximately 13,000 employees. Our involvement is on buildings 3, 7 and 8 and will include one 7 storey and two 8 storey office buildings with a combined internal area of 46,642 m2 and underground car park.


Oxfordshire EFW Energy Recovery Facility

Project: Oxfordshire EFW Energy Recovery Facility

Client: Tata Steel Projects Infrastructure Services

Value: £89m

This £89m design and build contract saw the construction of a new Energy from Waste facility in Oxfordshire. The facility is capable of handling 300,000 tonnes of waste per annum, both from municipal solid waste and commercial and industrial waste, with 75,000 tpa of ash recycling.

Client: Cathedral Group

Value: £80m

The Cathedral Group, in conjunction with London Borough of Lambeth, built a landmark £80m mixed-use regeneration scheme across two sites in Clapham town centre, south west London in 2012. We worked closely with the design and contractor teams throughout the construction period and assisted the contractor in achieving the quality demanded. This involved close scrutinisation of construction details on site as they were created and comparing these to the drawings and specification, together with casting an ‘experienced eye’ over site operations and commenting as necessary.

Project: Copyright House

Client: Blackburn & Co

This 9,800sqm scheme provides a mixture of retail and office spaces. The ground floor provides 1,850sqm of retail space, there is also 7,950sqm of fully fitted out category ‘A’ offices across the remaining seven floors, with two floors of roof terraces. The project achieved a BREEAM excellent environmental standard due to the use of sustainable approaches throughout the construction phase and the installation of solar panels on the building’s green roof.
