We are now part of the Government-backed cyber hygiene scheme — Cyber Essentials

We continue with good working practices in all areas of our company.  The security of our electronic information is paramount when dealing with sectors such as the MoD, Government, Health and many more.

We are therefore pleased to announce that following a successful application by our IT Assistant Kelly Chapman and Office Manager Becci Hanson, we have successfully achieved the Cyber Essential certification.

Cyber Essentials is a Government-designed scheme aimed at keeping UK businesses safe from cyber-attacks that can cost thousands of pounds and lengthy periods of disruption. In 2012 the 10 Steps to Cyber Security guide was launched with an aim to encourage organisations to consider their cyber security measures. Since 2014 it has been mandatory for Government contracts that deal with ICT products and services to have this accreditation and we felt it was a worthy accreditation to have in our industry too.

‘We felt it was essential for our company to achieve this accreditation to reassure our clients that the security of their data was of the upmost important to us. Our application was a success and we have learned that we are one step away from achieving Cyber Essential Plus.’

— Office Manager Becci Hanson

We work with many Government bodies throughout the UK and by achieving this certification we are demonstrating to our clients that we are using current practices in relation to our cyber security.
