We are pleased to be delivering Building and M&E Clerk of Works services for the final stage of build for Audley’s brand-new retirement village located at Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.
Following the success of our Quality Site Inspector role at Audley’s Stanbridge Earls retirement village, we are delighted to have been appointed to phase three of the development at Audley Chalfont Dene, working alongside project management company Fitzsimons.
Once complete, the village – spanning over move than 3000 sq. ft. – will provide over 84 homes and apartments, 58 of which are brand-new developments. In the centre of the site is the magnificent Chalfont House, home to 11 luxury apartments as well as the Audley Club – health club containing a spa & swimming pool, gym, library, restaurant, and bar.
The existing buildings already operating on-site at Chalfont Dene, are to be integrated into the new community, with the new developments being designed to reflect the architecture of the earlier development, where buildings are arranged to give continually changing views.
Audley has proposed its very first multi-purpose Village Hall, whilst primarily a facility for the residents, the hall will be available to the local community for hire. The dwelling will be large enough that it can be configured for films, lectures, formal dances, craft fairs, an indoor market, or even indoor bowls.
