Broken Wharf House Aparthotel development, London

We have partnered with Gardiner & Theobald for the last fifteen years and are delighted to have worked with them on a development project in London – Broken Wharf House Aparthotel, where we have provided Building Clerk of Works services.

The construction works included the reconfiguration of the ground floor and basement of a former office building to provide a reception, restaurant, bar/café, co-working area, lounge and gym along with the other floors providing 113 high-quality apartment units.  The works were undertaken in an un-occupied building with a minimal amount of impact on the neighbouring properties.

This £13m scheme has being delivered for the end client SACO’s (The Serviced Apartment Company) who are one of the UK’s leading providers of serviced apartments with an extensive network of properties in cities around the world, they are renowned for very high standards and outstanding customer service.

“We are pleased to have delivered our services for our long-standing client, Gardiner & Theobald. A key challenge with this particular project at Broken Wharf House was for the contractor to cause minimal disruption to surrounding neighbours – a challenge which was monitored by our accomplished Building Clerk of Works.”

Chairman, Tony Mobbs
