Holbourne Park is built in a beautiful parkland setting which was previously home to one of the MOD’s ‘Hutment’ sites in which the Ministry of Staff in Bath occupied whilst working on historically significant WW11 projects.
The significance of the site has evolved with this new development, which is seen to be unique to Bath with homes retaining a village-like feel but within an easy walking distance to the centre of Bath.
Appointed by London-based Development and Project Management company FTSQUARED in November last year to provide Building Clerk of Works services, our involvement will oversee the quality aspects of the development to ensure that the highest of standards are met for the client.
The development has been designed to combine modern living with the well-known traditional architecture of Bath using customary materials including Bath stone, natural slate roofs and timber window frames. Properties will range between one-bedroom studio apartments through to six-bedroom houses. *Beth Chippindall Lead Creative with Hardrock Developments says, ‘Our aim is to delight potential owners with elegant homes, using beautifully crafted materials and clever design’.
‘Our Site Inspectors combine decades of site experience and expertise in the high-end housing sector to add value to this distinctive housing project. The homes are to be of exceptional quality and it is important that the design, build, construction and finish all match the high-levels of quality expected by everyone.’
- Managing Director, Tony Mobbs
