One of our latest Affordable Housing schemes is in Bradford, West Yorkshire on the Chellow Grange Quarry which will become a mixture of 98 rented and shared ownership properties. Appointed by one of the largest Housing Associations in the country – Home Group, we are providing Quality Site Inspections throughout the development to ensure the build meets all the required standards and adherence to the client’s specification.
The Harworth Road development, proposed by Home Group Ltd and Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire, will assist Bradford Council with their plans to provide much needed good quality Affordable Housing for the Bradford District, across a mixture of 30 percent shared ownership and 70 percent affordable or social rent properties.
The site will hold 53 two-bedroom homes and 33 three-bedroom homes, with off street parking and electric charging ports, along with twelve one-bedroom apartments, all of which will be accessible through a new access road off Hathaway Avenue. The scheme will be built by Vistry Partnerships Yorkshire and has been designed by IDP Architects and Adept Engineers.
Before construction works commenced, over 35,618 cubic metres of materials were needed to fill the quarry, which was estimated to have taken around six months of work.
