Flagship Community Safety Hub for Cleveland Police

Hemlington, Middlesbrough is the location chosen for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland’s new Community Safety Hub. This flagship hub is designed to provide Teesside with cost-effective, cutting-edge specialist policing for modern-day requirements and will be used to showcase the area.

This 3,000 square metre building will open this summer and will be accessible to the public offering facilities such as a café, reception and meeting rooms, which are named after aspects of the four districts of Cleveland and will display impressive wall canvasses to show off the area. The building will also be used by the regions community partners.

We were appointed directly by the OPCC in September 2017, to work on this multi-million-pound project providing Building Clerks of Works inspection services to ensure that the agreed building specifications and quality of workmanship were met and to ultimately achieve a high-quality build that the local community and Cleveland Police could be proud of.

Over the years we have worked as the clients ‘eyes and ears’ on several police headquarters throughout the UK and were delighted to work with Cleveland Police on their flagship Community Safety Hub. We wanted to make sure that we placed local Clerks of Works onto the project inline with their principles of utilising local suppliers and very much look forward to the opening which is scheduled for this summer.’
