Lavae infected turf

The main contractor had turf delivered without checking the origin and the quality of the material. The turf was full of a specific lavae which infects the soil and also the grass. The whole area turned to a flake crust top and all the grass died. As the soil was also badly infected, we gave advice on having it tested to see what the issue was. The developer tested the area and found the lavae (infection) was leather jacket product. To resolve the issue the whole area to a depth of 150mm was removed. New topsoil was brought in and then a good quality turf was installed. Before and after pictures.
