Modern Community hub at Skegness Tower Gardens

We are providing NEC Supervisory services for the £1.5m new-build modern community hub which is being constructed following the demolition of the historic and much-loved Tower Gardens Pavilion, built in 1879, in the popular seaside town Skegness, Lincolnshire.

For 140 years, Skegness Tower Gardens and the Pavilion have provided recreational and entertainment facilities for the local community and visitors and became an important landmark in Skegness.

The new community hub, which plans to be complete early 2020, will add to Skegness’ history and growth to ensure that the coastal resort continues to thrive in the current climate. There will be a community hall, community meeting area and toilet facilities in addition to an already existing landscaped park.

Appointed by our client, global property and construction consultants Gleeds via the Perfect Circle framework, our role is to provide independent quality inspections to oversee the quality aspects during the phases of construction work.

“We are pleased to be providing NEC Supervisory services for this project. The new hub will re-generate the area which will benefit the community enormously.”

Resource Manager, Aaron Jones
