Works have recently commenced on site with the construction of a new build care home in Lincoln. We are working closely with global property and construction consultants Gleeds, to deliver the extra care facility in an established residential housing estate just outside Lincoln City Centre. We are providing Building and M&E NEC Supervisor services throughout the RIBA Stages 5 & 6 of construction.
The City of Lincoln Council are investing an estimated £10m in the two and three storey extra care housing comprising of 70 apartments (50 one bed and 20 two bed apartments). The site will also home on-site care staff, non-resident management staff in addition to providing additional amenities along with 35 car parking spaces for future residents and their families.
The re-vamp works began with the demolition of the former De Wint Court to make way for the construction of this new care facility. The councils’ ambition is to create new and updated residential accommodation block helping residents live more independently, yet together and more inclusively with the local surrounding community with the introduction of a public restaurant on site.
