Appointed by Northumberland County Council, we are providing Building Clerks of Works services for the new-build development in Ponteland, Northumberland throughout the duration of the c.£43m project.
Comprising of a new build primary school, secondary school and leisure centre, the project forms part of one of the county council’s largest capital programmes. The project partners include Northumberland County Council, Active Northumberland, Ponteland Primary School and Ponteland High School with Northumberland County Council funding the scheme.
Once completed in 2020, the state-of-the-art development will feature a 1,600-pupil secondary school, a 420-pupil primary school, a 52-place nursery, a leisure centre including six lane swimming pool, library and a café. In addition, the leisure centre, which will be managed by Active Northumberland, will feature a spa, gym, soft play and a clip’n’climb activity zone.
