Sheltered Housing Project, in Old Woking

We are delighted to be working with Woking Borough Council, who have appointed us as Clerk of Works on a project which will see the transformation of a former car showroom site in Old Woking!

Hale End Court, a brand-new forty-eight unit independent living extra care housing facility, has been designed to provide additional support to Old Woking’s older age group by providing affordable accommodation whilst also allowing residents to access invaluable care.

The showroom was demolished in April 2018 and construction is well underway. Residents will have access to a communal kitchen, living room, dining room and salon facilities, along with mobile scooter charging ports. All the homes will be fully accessible and appropriately modified for secure living with devices such as door buzzers, accessible bathrooms and pull chords fitted as standard.

Our experienced supervisor is on-site to oversee all aspects of the building installation, to ensure the onsite contractor satisfies the quality standards in accordance with the works information.

“We have been fortunate to have been trusted by many clients in the Care and Housing sectors to assist them in achieving quality construction in their projects and are delighted to be adding to our Care portfolio by working on this lovely addition to the community’s care facilities”
