An NEC ECC Supervisor role differs to a Clerk of W An NEC ECC Supervisor role differs to a Clerk of Works. While both roles involve checking compliance and quality control on construction projects, the Supervisor operates independently from the Project Manager. The responsibility of the Supervisor is to monitor and assess various aspects of the project’s quality assurance. This includes closely observing the construction process, conducting witness testing, and checking for compliance with the Scope which serves as the blueprint for the project. The Supervisor plays a crucial role monitoring all activities on the construction site so that the Contractor is adhering to the terms and conditions stipulated within the contract. Our Supervisors will: ➡️ Ensure that the contractor satisfies the quality standards set in the Scope. ➡️ Have the authority to instruct Contractors to search for defects. ➡️ Be specifically responsible for issuing Defects Certificates.
