Our commitment goes beyond just growth; we’ve made a real impact in our community.

In September, we participated in a 10K for St. Luke's Hospice, and back in June, our team volunteered to sort clothes for those in need. This festive season, we came together to support the Sheffield Shoebox Appeal, bringing joy to families and individuals who deserve a brighter holiday season.

Looking ahead, we have even bigger plans for 2025, and we’re looking forward to exploring new collaborations!

Say hello to Emily Horrocks, our brilliant Resource and Development Co-Ordinator who has a background in recruitment.

As part of her work, Emily oversees the recruitment and onboarding of new clerks, ensuring a seamless process for all. She joined the company back in October after feeling a strong connection during her interview and has since enjoyed the collaborative team environment and the opportunity to engage with new and interesting people daily.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her 3-year-old and staying active at the gym when time allows.

We’re excited to have Emily on board and can’t wait to see the impact she continues to make!

This year, we wanted to do something special by raising money and creating shoeboxes to support the incredible Sheffield Shoebox Appeal. We’re so proud to have donated 40 shoeboxes filled with over £400 of thoughtful gifts to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to those in need.

These boxes will help make the season brighter for the homeless, people in hostels or temporary accommodation, safe refuges, and socially isolated elderly individuals.

Today at the @londonbuildexpo , our Bid manager, Joseph Webster, had the opportunity to attend a fantastic seminar: “It’s OK Not to Be OK: Let’s Talk About Men’s Mental Health in Construction.”

The session featured inspiring speakers, including Jonathan Eddery, Associate Consultant at AtkinsRéalis, and Russell McIver, Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager at Movember. They shared powerful insights into how we approach men’s mental health, the importance of changing language, fostering peer engagement, and creating safe spaces to be vulnerable.

A standout moment was this great quote from Jonathan Eddery:
“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change.”

It’s a great reminder of the impact of perspective and openness. Are we doing enough in the workplace to support men in construction with their mental health and wellbeing? Let’s continue this important conversation.

We’ve experienced significant growth over the past year, with our head office team has expanding from 11 to 17 members, representing an impressive 34% increase. We are also proud to report that our workforce now comprises 76% women, actively challenging misconceptions surrounding women in the construction industry. In addition, our representation of LGBTQ+ individuals has risen from 9% to an impressive 29%.

We’ve also welcomed 20 new Clerks on-site, keeping us at the forefront of quality control in construction. Plus, a huge congratulations to those who received promotions this year:
