We are excited to be midway through Quality Site Inspections for the Cardiac Catheter Labs & Engineering Services Upgrade at Leeds General Infirmary.
Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust appointed us to provide both Build and M&E Clerks of Works services for the phase 2 refurbishment of their Cath Labs and the Engineering Infrastructure, located in the Jubliee Wing building. Phase 1 saw the completion of the refurbishment and remodeling of Cath Labs 4 & 5 in 2020/21, and Phase 2 is now concentrating on the refurbishment of Lab 1, before completing Labs 2, 3 & 6 in the third and final phase. The engineering infrastructure will require new mechanical ventilation systems, electrical services and medical gases installation.
We have been conducting weekly visits since January 2022, to ensure that the upgrades are being completed to the highest possible standards, as required from the clients plans. Works are due to complete this summer, ready for the final phase.
