We are delighted to be appointed by our existing client, Teesside University, to provide Clerks of Works services on two exciting projects –National Horizons Centre and Student Life Building, to improve both their student lives and research facilities.
We provided both Building and M&E Clerks of Works services for the National Horizons Centre (NHC) in Darlington which is a new three-storey building providing a full range of facilities for the Bio-Industries and creates a catalyst for growth in UK’s bioscience research.
With a £11M construction value and additional £5.5M for specialist laboratory equipment, the facility supports a substantial research team and allows students to enhance their futures in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including Physical Science, Engineering and Forensic Science Disciplines.
In addition to this, we are currently providing Building Clerks of Works services for the £12.5m Student Life Building based in the heart of the Middlesbrough campus which is scheduled to complete this Autumn. Once complete, the three-storey building will provide students with a brand-new modern environment and student-led space to provide information and services to support, inspire and empower the students to succeed.
