Our student housing portfolio is growing expeditiously, and we’re pleased to be providing Building and M&E Clerk of Works services for two modern student accommodation projects in Coventry and Reading.
Building works on the contemporary seven-floor student accommodation block, at St Columbas Close, are nearing completion. The building will house 90 students in a mixture of studios and five ‘twodio’ units, which include use of the lower ground level and the incorporation of mezzanines in the roof space. The development included demolition of an existing semi-derelict industrial unit and was given additional planning protection due to its position in the Canal Conservation Area.
Our experienced Clerk of Works, who has decades of inspection expertise, is currently delivering on site monthly structural, mechanical and electrical inspection services to the 56 bed studios at 79 Silver Street, Reading. The property when launched will providing a variety of luxury en-suite, fully furnished studios, all of which have access to a modernised multi-use and gaming lounge, on-site gym and private study areas.
